We Need Your Help
Primary education is free and compulsory. The schools in poor villages often are in poor repair and have few supplies. Once their primary education is complete, many children see their formal education end because their families cannot afford the cost of tuition and books required to attend a secondary school. Corozal Belize Ministries assists poor village schools and provides scholarships so 13- and 14-year-old children can continue their education rather than find themselves out on the village streets.
Scholarships
Assist village families in need to meet the annual cost (approx. $300/student) of high school tuition, fees, and uniforms.
School Support
The village schools have great needs. Classrooms need computers, whiteboards, books, and basic supplies. In some schools, the majority of the desks are in total disrepair or non-existent.
Community Projects
The villages, just like their schools, have tremendous needs. Corozal Belize Ministries works to meet the needs of single moms and parents that struggle to put a roof over their children’s heads, and more.
